LVDL Files Amicus Brief re Scope of NRCP 35 Orders

The Court of
Appeals granted Las Vegas Defense Lawyers’ motion to file an amicus brief in
92276-COA. The case is a writ petition that addresses the level of detail that
NRCP 35 requires both in a motion seeking a NRCP 35 exam and in the order
granting that motion. The plaintiff argues for exacting specificity that
includes every technique, test, procedure, and question that will be asked. LVDL’s
brief notes this is a recurring dispute that is frequently litigated and
appellate guidance would help. However, that level of specificity is not
required under the rule, nor is it practical.
