The Art of the Setup

In 2026 thus far, three complaints have been filed locally alleging an insurance carrier acted bad faith, but also that the defense firm committed legal malpractice. What is the script for these claims and how does it ensnare defense counsel? What is defense counsel’s role as the setup progresses? None of us want to be named as defendants, but if we are, we’d like to have the basis for a decent defense.
