ATA Trucking Legal Forum

ATA Trucking Legal Forum

The Nevada Trucking Association will sponsor a member of the Las Vegas Defense Lawyers organization (“LVDL”) to attend the American Trucking Associations’ Litigation Center’s Trucking Legal Forum to be held July 14-17 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego, California.

Forum topics are specifically tailored to address the trucking industry’s most critical legal issues and its presenters are industry experts and experienced practitioners. Sessions cover compliance, litigation, employment, and business law strategies aimed at reducing and avoiding risk both in and out of court. Motor carrier general counsel, C-level executives and directors of risk, safety, and HR will all have ample opportunity to learn from and network with respected legal and technical experts, colleagues, policy makers, insurers, and industry leaders. The packed schedule also includes plenty of opportunities to network including several meal functions, a golf outing and more! The conference offers continuing legal education credits, including ethics.

Nevada Trucking Association CEO, Paul J. Enos said, “Trucking companies face tremendous challenges on the legal front. We appreciate the efforts of the Las Vegas Defense Lawyers and look forward to assisting them with the tools and knowledge they need to effectively represent the needs of the industry.”

The Nevada Trucking Association was founded in 1932, and today with over 550 members in every community in the state is the preeminent voice for the trucking industry in Nevada. The Nevada Trucking Association will pay for travel, hotel and registration for one member of the LVDL as chosen by its Board of Directors.

LVDL provides a forum for mutual education of its members and the public on such critical topics as providing a balanced perspective regarding the defense of personal injury litigation and maintaining high standards of professional conduct. LVDL is dedicated to promoting cooperation and civility in litigation, which in turn, improves the overall public perception of civil defense attorneys. Companies and individuals need tangible resources to rely upon in navigating a litigious business environment and LVDL stands ready to provide that help.

LVDL members who are interested in the outstanding opportunity to participate in the Forum are urged to contact LVDL President Brad Johnson at [email protected].
